About The Position
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and testing of durable medical equipment (DME). This role involves ensuring equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, restocked, maintained, and tested. Additionally, the position assists in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and facilities through basic janitorial duties.
Requirements
- Up to one year experience working in a warehouse/stock room environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift an average of 30 pounds
- Must pass a National Criminal Background Check
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting of durable medical equipment (DME)
- Restocking cleaned and disinfected equipment
- Maintenance and testing of equipment
- Documenting the cleaning, maintenance, and testing of equipment
- Helps maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and facilities by performing basic janitorial duties as assigned
