About The Position
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and testing of durable medical equipment (DME). This role involves ensuring that medical equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, maintained, and tested before being restocked. The position also requires documenting all maintenance and testing procedures and performing minor repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Up to one year experience working in a warehouse/stock room environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift an average of 30 pounds
- Must pass a National Criminal Background Check
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting of durable medical equipment (DME)
- Restocking cleaned and disinfected equipment
- Maintenance and testing of equipment
- Documenting the cleaning, maintenance, and testing of equipment
- Perform minor repairs on equipment according to manufacturer’s documentation
- Perform maintenance checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
