The American Medical Association (AMA) is seeking a Medical Education Center Director II for its Education Center team in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in the office. The role provides leadership and strategic guidance to advance AMA Ed Hub and AMA’s education portfolio, contributing to long-term planning. The Director will serve as a physician advisor, shaping the selection, development, dissemination, and implementation of education products and programs to support physicians throughout their careers, enhance their professional development, and achieve business goals. Responsibilities include collaboratively developing and managing content, delivery, and learner engagement strategies to influence the reach, adoption, and impact of B2B and B2C education solutions. The role also involves evaluating, reviewing, and editing content for quality and relevance to clinical audiences, and representing strategy to constituents and external stakeholders. This position is recognized as an external thought leader within a strategic business unit or job discipline, requiring broad expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and technologies. The Director will proactively identify and solve problems impacting the management and direction of the AMA, influencing strategy development and long-term planning.
