About The Position

Inova Center for Personalized Health is seeking a Dosimetrist 2 to join its team. This full-time position is scheduled Monday through Friday and involves treatment planning and dosimetry, including intracavitary, interstitial, HDR, external beam, IMRT, SRS, and SRT procedures. The dosimetrist also supports treatment planning software implementation and troubleshooting, performs treatment plan checks and manual calculations, and provides leadership and mentoring to Level I Dosimetrists. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or related field.
• One year of experience as a Dosimetrist.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist certification upon start.

Responsibilities

• Perform intracavitary, interstitial, and HDR dosimetry.
• Take ownership of correct billing entries for all Physics planning procedures.
• Perform two-dimensional and three-dimensional standard and complex IMRT, SRS, and SRT computerized external beam planning.
• Perform secondary manual calculations of treatment monitor unit calculations.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Level I Dosimetrists.
• Assist Physics with acceptance testing, implementing, and troubleshooting treatment planning software.
• Perform secondary checks of treatment plans.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
