About The Position

The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for performing the technical aspects of Radiation Therapy Treatment Planning and communicating these aspects to the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Therapist. They maintain accurate treatment records and perform a variety of technical and non-technical tasks and direct patient care activities requiring independent judgment and initiative.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved Radiation Oncology program or graduate of a Medical Dosimetry program required.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required.
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) required.
Certified by MDCB (Medical Dosimetry Certification Boards).
Minimum of (3) year’s dosimetry experience with eligibility for dosimetry boards required.

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) preferred.
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and State of Ohio Radiological License preferred.
