About The Position

Under the general supervision of the radiation oncologist and medical physicist, the Medical Dosimetrist designs radiation treatment plans for radiation therapy patients. Plans include computer-generated dose distributions, point-dose calculations, and dose-volume histograms, prepared in accordance with the physician’s treatment prescription. The position is primarily on-site, though a hybrid schedule may be available for highly experienced candidates. Some responsibilities, including HDR planning and treatment-related activities, require on-site attendance.

The role is based at 1580 Commanche Ave, Green Bay, WI 54313. It is full-time at 0.80 FTE (32 hours per week), with a Monday–Friday schedule between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. No weekends are required.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist, or eligibility for certification, by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
• Two years of clinical experience in medical dosimetry or completion of a medical dosimetry program.
