About The Position

This role requires an MD with extensive administrative and practice experience in acute care settings, focusing on clinical operations and medical staff leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of organizational strategies, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to foster team development and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in project management, process redesign, performance improvement, and managing complex, politically sensitive projects with executive and physician leadership is essential. Prior experience in the assigned area is also required.

Requirements

  • MD with 10 years administrative experience in an acute care setting related to clinical operations and medical staff leadership.
  • Ten years recent practice experience as an active member of a large and diverse medical staff.
  • Working knowledge of current organizational strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Complex problem solving abilities.
  • Team development planning and follow through.
  • Able to interface and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Prior experience in assigned area.
  • Applied knowledge of project management and process redesign and performance improvement techniques.
  • Experience managing large, complex politically sensitive projects with executive and physician leadership.
  • Board certification in specialty or the regulating board of their subspecialty field.
  • Licensed by the Medical Board.
  • Current DEA member.
