About The Position
Saxira Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking an experienced Medical Director to oversee clinical operations at our growing luxury med spa. This role provides medical oversight for injectables, wellness treatments, and aesthetic procedures while ensuring compliance with Maryland regulations.
Requirements
- Active Maryland MD or DO license in good standing.
- Active DEA license in Maryland.
Nice To Haves
- Background in medical aesthetics or dermatology highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Passion for safe, ethical, and patient-centered aesthetic care.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient evaluations and establish treatment plans.
- Provide on-site, immediately available supervision for RNs, NPs, and PAs performing cosmetic injections (Botox, fillers, etc.).
- Prescribe medications, oversee protocols, and review charts.
- Ensure injector staff maintain proper training, competency, and compliance.
- Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for the team.
