About The Position
As a Medical Director for Access Medical Clinics (AMC), you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long-term care facility. The Medical Director collaborates with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care consistent with federal and state regulations.
Requirements
- MD or DO with active state medical license
- Board certification in geriatric, family or internal medicine
- Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care
- Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long-term care facility.
- Collaborate with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care consistent with federal and state regulations.
- Perform on-site presence for rounding on acute care and long-term care patients.
- Participate in QAPI and leadership meetings.
- Be available for consultation.
