About The Position

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to step into a pivotal leadership role as the facility medical director for our dynamic emergency departments. This role uniquely blends clinical practice with administrative leadership, offering you the opportunity to drive operational excellence, patient care quality, and team performance across two state-of-the-art facilities.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine.
• Must have clinical privileges at both Abrazo West Campus and Abrazo Buckeye Emergency Center.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse clinical teams and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee both clinical operations and administrative functions to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Direct and mentor teams of physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
• Serve as an advocate for patients, peers, and nursing colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Influence and enhance processes to optimize operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
