About The Position

Ft. Harrison Veterinarians is seeking a strong, forward-thinking Medical Director to lead the next chapter of our hospital in Indianapolis. This is a unique opportunity for a veterinarian who is ready to step into a leadership role, influence medical standards, and truly make a practice their own—with the full operational and leadership support of AVP behind you. We are looking for a doctor with vision, confidence, and drive—someone excited to shape hospital culture, elevate medical care, and build a team aligned with their standards and philosophy. Whether you’re an experienced Medical Director or a clinician ready to take that next step, this role offers the autonomy and support to create something meaningful and lasting. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys being hands‑on clinically, values high‑quality medicine, and wants an active voice in how the hospital grows and evolves. You’ll have the opportunity to guide medical protocols, develop and mentor a team, influence scheduling and workflow, and help define what success looks like at Ft. Harrison.
