Medical Director, Clinical Development, Cardiology/Nephrology
About The Position
Regeneron is seeking a Medical Director to join its Cardiovascular/Renal/Metabolism team in the Clinical Development Unit. The role serves as Medical Lead for clinical trials, responsible for developing clinical study concepts and protocols and overseeing studies in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. The position calls for a physician scientist with strong clinical scientific knowledge applicable to research who can serve as a clinical role model for the team. The role is based in Tarrytown, New York, with travel to relevant conferences expected at approximately 10%.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; equivalent research experience in academia will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Board eligibility or board certification in Cardiology, Nephrology, or Neurology (Autonomic specialists); relevant experience may be acceptable.
- Previous interactions with regulatory agencies or experience with a Common Technical Document (CTD) or dossier submission in an ICH region.
Responsibilities
- Guide the Global Clinical Study Team to deliver high-quality trials on time.
- Oversee medical monitoring of clinical trials to ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory guidance.
- Lead clinical study and protocol development and present to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide clinical and scientific leadership for data review, study reports, and publications.
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to advance program goals and key deliverables.
- Collaborate with discovery teams to help shape future targets and development opportunities in the field.
