About The Position

A growing multispecialty clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Medical Director to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the community. The immediate need is in Far Rockaway, New York. The role includes direct primary care for patients of all ages and collaboration with executive management to develop strategies that enhance patient care and practice performance. The schedule is three to four weekdays, with four hours on Saturdays preferred.

Requirements

MD or DO license.
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with the ability to see patients of all ages.
Primary care experience.
Extensive clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

Interest or experience in women's health.
Bilingual Spanish.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to patients of all ages presenting for routine care and a wide variety of primary care medical complaints.
Work with the executive management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care and improve overall practice performance.
Participate in workgroups and leadership committees.
Stay current on medical diagnostic and treatment modalities to support high-quality patient care.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement through chart reviews and by educating medical staff on appropriate treatment, diagnostics, and evaluation.
