This is a well-established, AAHA-accredited practice in New Port Richey, Florida, with a mission to offer the best medical and surgical care while delivering excellent customer service. The hospital is equipped with digital radiographs, in-house labs, and a therapeutic laser for practicing high-quality medicine. The practice focuses on work-life balance and is located in a beautiful area of New Port Richey, close to nature, beaches, and small-town charm, as well as nearby Salt Springs State Park and the city of Tampa. The schedule of operation is Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, with Sundays closed. The cases handled are small animal, dog/cat, with primary and advanced care.

Requirements

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
Licensure in good standing to practice in Florida or the ability to obtain.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the veterinary team, ensuring the highest standards of medical and surgical care.
Provide primary and advanced care for small animals, including dogs and cats.
Foster a collaborative and teaching environment within the team.
Develop strong client and Associate relationships built on trust and empathy.
Uphold the veterinary code of ethics and practice the highest standard of medicine.
