About The Position

This is a well-established, AAHA-accredited practice in New Port Richey, Florida, with a mission to offer the best medical and surgical care while delivering excellent customer service. The hospital is equipped with digital radiographs, in-house labs, and a therapeutic laser for practicing high-quality medicine. The practice focuses on work-life balance and is located in a beautiful area of New Port Richey, close to nature, beaches, and small-town charm, as well as nearby Salt Springs State Park and the city of Tampa. The schedule of operation is Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, with Sundays closed. The cases handled are small animal, dog/cat, with primary and advanced care.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Florida or the ability to obtain.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the veterinary team, ensuring the highest standards of medical and surgical care.
  • Provide primary and advanced care for small animals, including dogs and cats.
  • Foster a collaborative and teaching environment within the team.
  • Develop strong client and Associate relationships built on trust and empathy.
  • Uphold the veterinary code of ethics and practice the highest standard of medicine.
