About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Primary Care Physician to serve as the Site Medical Director for a full-time Physician role at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. This role provides clinical direction for assigned site(s), direct patient care, and clinical supervision for medical staff under the Statewide Medical Director. The Site Medical Director will collaborate with the Health Services Administrator for efficient medical services and participate in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Requirements
- MD/DO - internal medicine, family medicine or emergency medicine
- Active, unrestricted IN license
- Active, unrestricted DEA
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements of assigned site(s).
- Provides direct clinical services for patients.
- Provides clinical supervision for medical staff of assigned site(s).
- Collaborates with Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.
- Participates in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
