About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Medical Director (Physician) to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this executive clinical leadership role. This position requires a physician leader who can balance clinical oversight, operational leadership, and quality performance, while maintaining an active clinical presence.

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Completion of U.S.-based residency (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or OB/GYN)
  • Active Arizona medical license
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant specialty
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical provider experience with a strong performance record
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead providers and coordinate care delivery in outpatient environments
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Stable and progressive career trajectory
  • Board-certified Physician with strong clinical foundation
  • Proven leadership experience managing providers or clinical teams
  • Experience improving quality metrics and operational workflows
  • Comfortable balancing administrative and clinical responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence across teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in community health centers or FQHC environments
  • Master's degree in public health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Experience implementing Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) models
  • Proven success in quality metrics improvement and operational efficiency
  • Experience mentoring and developing clinical teams
  • FQHC or community health leadership experience
  • Proven success in scaling clinical operations
  • Advanced degrees (MPH, MHA)
  • Providers experienced in PCMH or value-based care environments

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of adult and family medicine providers across multiple sites
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive clinical performance metrics
  • Maintain an active clinical schedule (minimum one day per week in clinic)
  • Serve as a liaison between providers, leadership, and operational teams
  • Support development and enforcement of clinical policies and care standards
  • Evaluate provider performance through audits, reviews, and 1:1 meeting
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinical staff
  • Collaborate with administrative leadership on scheduling, coverage, and workflow optimization
  • Advance patient-centered care models and improve patient satisfaction outcomes
