About The Position
Able Innovations is a medical robotics company focused on improving patient transfers in acute care environments. Our ALTA Platform® is deployed in leading hospitals across North America, supporting safer, more efficient workflows for both patients and staff. This is a local, on call field support role focused on maintaining and supporting deployed robotic systems in a clinical setting.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined (engineering student, technician, or hands on builder)
- Reliable and responsive for short-notice, on-site support
- Comfortable working in hospital environments
- Able to follow structured procedures with attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- No advanced robotics experience is required, this is a hands on, practical support role with guidance provided.
Responsibilities
- Performing light service, maintenance, and device updates
- Supporting device validations and basic troubleshooting
- Assisting with clinical demos and operational readiness
- Providing structured feedback to our engineering team
