About The Position

This role is responsible for distributing and delivering products and services for representatives and customers. The Medical Device Driver will also conduct accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, perform warehouse inventory cycle counting, and optimize inventory utilization. Key responsibilities include preparing, shipping, receiving, and scheduling deliveries of products, ensuring timely delivery of sets and pickup/return of loaner sets, and fielding customer questions. The role also involves arranging merchandise for transport, performing minor maintenance on the company delivery vehicle, and maintaining accurate records for sales transactions and delivery information. Additionally, the driver will field customer complaints, assist with warehouse operations, and leverage hospital relationships to influence PO collection, relay surgery schedules, and conduct quality inspections on products/packages.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid US driver’s license with no restrictions
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year driver/ courier experience in a customer-facing, medical environment
  • Experience with inventory tracking systems in warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Distribute and deliver products/services for our representatives and customers
  • Conduct accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
  • Prepare, ship, receive and schedule delivery of products; ensure timely delivery of sets and pick up/return loaner sets; field customer questions and direct to appropriate branch personnel
  • Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations
  • Perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle, (fuel, fluid levels, tires, etc.), and keeps accurate maintenance records
  • Advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records for sales transactions and delivery information
  • Field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members
  • Assist with warehouse operations including Cycle Counting scans, leverage hospital relationships to influence PO collection, relay surgery schedules, and conduct quality inspects on products/packages

Benefits

  • $25.40 per hour + $1 per hour shift premium, plus bonus eligible + benefits.
