About The Position

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a part-time Medical Day Care Registered Nurse to join its pediatric team in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The RN provides comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned pediatric patients. The role follows facility and Department of Nursing policies and procedures, the New Jersey Nurse Practice Act, and New Jersey Department of Health Pediatric Medical Day Care standards. The RN provides safe, effective, developmentally appropriate, family-centered care; exercises independent clinical judgment within the scope of practice; supervises and delegates nursing activities; and promotes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The schedule is Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is benefit eligible.

Requirements

Current, unrestricted New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current CPR certification; BLS is required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
