We are recruiting for a Full-Time Medical Day Care Assistant to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Pennsauken, NJ. This position is benefit eligible. POSITION SUMMARY The Medical Day Assistant provides supportive care and supervision to pediatric patients enrolled in the Pediatric Medical Day Care program under the direction of licensed nursing staff. The Medical Day Assistant assists with activities of daily living, therapeutic activities, patient supervision, and maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate environment. Care is delivered in accordance with: Facility policies and procedures NJ Department of Health Pediatric Medical Day Care standards Infection control and safety policies Department of Nursing guidelines The Medical Day Assistant promotes a safe, nurturing, and family-centered environment while supporting the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current CPR certification (BLS preferred)
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or under supervision of RN/LPN

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children preferred
  • CNA certification or Medical Assistant training preferred but not required

Responsibilities
