About The Position

Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems — operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running. This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a Medical Courier route from Batavia to Rochester.

Requirements

• Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Active vehicle insurance
• Satisfactory driving record (MVR)
• Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be 21+ years old
• Satisfactory background check
• Satisfactory MVR review

Responsibilities

• Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
• Handle specimens carefully and maintain proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
• Contact dispatch immediately if any issues arise with pickups/deliveries, such as damage, improper packaging, or other concerns.
