About The Position

Mercury is looking for dependable, service-minded drivers to transport time-sensitive healthcare and life sciences shipments throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Our medical couriers help laboratories, healthcare providers, and other organizations receive important packages safely and on time. Previous medical courier experience is not required. If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable driving throughout the Bay Area, we can help you learn the rest. Mercury is known for solving problems, communicating clearly, and treating every delivery with care.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Reliable personal vehicle available for daily deliveries
• Valid driver’s license
• Current vehicle registration and personal auto insurance
• Android or iOS smartphone with an active data plan
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

• Medical courier experience is helpful, but it is not required.
• Experience in delivery, logistics, customer service, hospitality, or another fast-paced environment can also be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver healthcare shipments and small parcels using your personal vehicle
• Follow delivery instructions and maintain proper chain of custody
• Handle every shipment carefully, professionally, and confidentially
• Confirm pickups and deliveries using a mobile app
• Communicate promptly about delays, questions, or unexpected issues
• Provide friendly, professional service at customer locations
• Follow all traffic, parking, safety, and company procedures
