About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Courier in Lumberton, New Jersey. The courier transports medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route, helping ensure diagnostic services reach patients and healthcare professionals safely and on time. The role involves independently operating a company-provided, non-CDL vehicle, interacting professionally with medical and laboratory staff, and using mobile technology to track deliveries and maintain accurate records. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver's license and have at least three years of driving experience.
• Provide a Motor Vehicle Record showing no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months, with none in the most recent 12 months.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.
• Have strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
• Be able to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Be comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Be able to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on the move for much of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle.
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
