About The Position

Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems — operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running. This role involves a specific route from Pittsburgh to Worthington, covering 326 miles. The courier will use a driver app for navigation, scheduling, and support, and will be responsible for handling and transporting medical specimens with care, ensuring proper temperature control. Communication with dispatch is crucial for any issues encountered.

Requirements

• Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Active insurance
• Satisfactory driving record (MVR)
• Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• 21+ years old
• Satisfactory background check
• Satisfactory MVR review

Responsibilities

• Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
• Handle specimens carefully and maintain proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
• Contact dispatch immediately if any issues arise with specimens (e.g., damage, improper packaging).
