Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Clean driving record (MVR required)
- Experience driving throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and GPS navigation
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport medical materials using wheeled carts and delivery equipment
- Position requires pushing and maneuvering carts weighing up to 300 pounds, including navigating ramps and uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift individual items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and proper material-handling techniques
Responsibilities
- Safely pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens, supplies, and other materials while maintaining package integrity and chain of custody
- Load and unload medical materials using wheeled carts and delivery equipment
- Navigate efficient delivery routes using GPS and mobile applications
- Provide timely delivery updates and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every stop
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Am-Tran positively
- Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained
