The right contractor is comfortable operating independently, communicates proactively, and delivers polished outputs ensuring absolute and comprehensive accuracy and appropriateness — whether that's a clinical content review, a patient-facing script, or a program workflow summary. Engagements will vary month to month based on active project needs, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting

  • Demonstrated agility and understanding in leveraging AI tools and technical resources for efficient medical content review, writing, and editing
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging content
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Comfortable managing deliverables across a variable, project-based schedule
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Researching, drafting, and editing clinical content for accuracy and audience for patients, providers, and general consumers
  • Creating or refining scripts tied to diagnostic results and clinical care programs
  • Reviewing and updating existing content for clinical accuracy, health literacy, and alignment with current guidelines
  • Supporting product detail pages, blog posts, engagement communications, and patient-facing care plan language
  • Conducting targeted literature reviews and telehealth industry research to support new or evolving clinical programs and topic areas
  • Translating clinical requirements into clear, usable program summaries or workflow visuals
  • Identifying gaps in existing clinical documentation and recommending improvements
  • Supporting training and reference materials for internal teams or healthcare providers
