Quality Assurance/ Medical Records-IN OFFICE Medical Chart Reviewer
About The Position
Central Coast Home Health is seeking a full-time, entry-level Medical Chart Reviewer to join their Quality Assurance team in the San Luis Obispo office. This is an in-office position, not remote. The role involves reviewing various communications for Home Health patients, such as doctor's orders, visit notes, and other clinical communications. It is a fast-paced position that requires a high level of attention to detail and thoroughness in handling all documentation. The individual must be able to retrieve documentation and details amidst distractions and contribute to a team environment by taking on additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Experience in MS Office, Adobe and Internet Explorer
- Knowledge of basic office practices and procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, be detailed oriented and stay on task
- Good organizational, data entry and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Reviewing various communications for Home Health patients, including doctor's orders, visit notes and other clinical communications.
- Maintaining high attention to detail and thoroughness for all documentation.
- Retrieving documentation and details on a regular basis with some distraction.
- Taking on additional duties as needed to support a team environment.
