Requirements

  • A current Louisiana license in a health services field, health regulation field, or social services field plus two years of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services; OR
  • A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services; OR
  • A master's degree in a health services field, health regulation field, or a social services field plus one year of experience in hospital or nursing home administration, health services, health regulation, or social services.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using standardized functional/clinical assessment tools.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Long Term Care Programs’ rules and regulations (including Nursing Facilities, Community Choices Waiver, Adult Day Health Care Waiver, Long-Term-Personal Care Services and the Program for the All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Conducting regularly scheduled trainings on the standardized assessments and person-centered care planning used by OAAS.
  • Maintaining certification/training records.
  • Assisting with revisions and/or development of training materials.
  • Providing technical assistance to other OAAS staff, providers and support coordination agencies.
  • Developing and delivering other trainings and/or presentations to providers statewide.
  • Assisting with monitoring of Medicaid enrolled support coordination agencies (on-site and data review).
  • Conducting assessments at home visits.
