About The Position

Tareen Dermatology is seeking a full-time Call Center Representative to support our Patient Services team by serving as a primary point of contact for patients across our clinic locations. This role is responsible for managing inbound patient communications, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate information and follow-up to ensure an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior customer service experience
Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
Reliable attendance and dependability
Comfort working across multiple systems, including scheduling platforms and electronic health records (EHR)

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of prior healthcare experienc
Knowledge of medical terminology

Responsibilities

Respond to inbound patient communications (phone and electronic), providing accurate information and routing clinical questions appropriately
Schedule appointments across all clinic locations accurately and efficiently
Enter and maintain patient information and documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
Support providers and clinical teams by responding to patient needs within scope of practice
Verify insurance information and make necessary follow-up calls
Monitor and manage voicemail and electronic message queues to ensure timely responses
Route incoming documents (fax and electronic) to appropriate teams
Prepare and maintain new patient records within the EHR
Process medical record release requests in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations
