About The Position

Wee Care Liberty POST is seeking a part-time Medical Billing Associate in Dyer, Indiana, and surrounding areas. The role reviews, analyzes, and resolves insurance denials while providing administrative support in the front office. Wee Care is a pediatric intervention service provider that joined Liberty POST in Fall 2024. Liberty POST provides early intervention services, including evaluation, direct therapy, and family education, through a collaborative team approach focused on children’s natural learning environments and families’ individual strengths and needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance claims, customer service, and revenue cycle management.
• Proficiency in data entry, word processing, and database management.
• Ability to work independently.
• Understanding of commercial insurance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Review denied, rejected, or underpaid insurance claims.
• Provide front-desk support, including greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, and directing inquiries.
• Address customer service inquiries and track and follow up on pending claims.
• Contact insurance companies to clarify or resolve claim issues.
