About The Position

UB Associates, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Biller to join our revenue cycle team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, including charge entry, payment posting, claim follow-up, and patient account support. The Medical Biller plays an important part in supporting both patients and organizational success through strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Knowledge of billing processes, coding, and revenue cycle principles
Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, and management
Ability to collaborate effectively while managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Accurately enter physician charges, ICD-10 codes, and modifiers into the billing system
Verify and maintain patient demographic and insurance information
Ensure all billing data is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
Monitor, follow up, and resolve denied or underpaid claims
Post patient and insurance payments in alignment with EOBs
Manage refunds and payment adjustments when necessary
Respond professionally to patient inquiries regarding balances and statements
Partner with front desk staff to resolve account concerns and escalate complex issues as needed
Assist with coverage, special projects, and related administrative tasks as directed
