About The Position
Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Brown Deer Clinic in Primary Care. This full-time, day shift position involves assisting physicians and nurses with patient care, recording medical history and vital signs, preparing and sanitizing treatment rooms, and managing clerical tasks.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

- Prior MA experience
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
- Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
