About The Position

Responsible for daily clinical operations within the practice. Responsible for working collaboratively with management, physician, and coworkers to provide excellent service to our patients. All of this being done consistent with policies, procedures and programs within the cardiology line of business.

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED.
• Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Health career Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
• CPR required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred but not required.
• Medical terminology and pharmacology background recommended.
• Essential computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records recommended.
