Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma.
• Certifications: CCMA and/or CMA and/or RMA
• At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a patient-facing setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred but not required.
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting courses.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Assist the program director.
• Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
