About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) - Family Medicine position is a full-time role located in Northbrook, IL. The primary responsibilities include greeting patients, documenting vital signs, allergies, and medications, providing front office support, performing basic vitals, and potentially assisting with phlebotomy and injections. The role is part of Endeavor Health, a large integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing quality care across six northeast Illinois counties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and escort them to exam room
Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
Provide front office support as needed
Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
Phlebotomy and injections may be required
