About The Position

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you’ll perform administrative and clinical tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience. Your contributions will directly support providers during examinations and procedures, making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or Graduate without externship but with one year of clinical medical assisting experience within the past five years, or Current professionally recognized Medical Assistant certification with one year of experience, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Paramedic/EMT with one year of clinical experience within the past five years, or Military-trained medical personnel with one year of clinical experience within the past five years.
• Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during clinical procedures and examinations.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team and patient care.
