About The Position

As a full-time Medical Assistant, also known as a Clinical Multitasking Specialist, you will be a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting dermatology providers. Your role will be to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care while demonstrating consistent adherence to the practice’s standards and procedures. You will be integral in communicating with and educating patients, as well as assisting providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. The ideal candidate is a detailed-oriented, proactive, initiative-taking individual with a passion for healthcare. This position offers a great opportunity for those interested in advanced healthcare roles. The position includes occasional travel to Central Illinois offices.

Requirements

At least 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
At least 2 years of customer service experience
Advanced proficiency with computers
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic typing skills
Basic computer skills
Basic English skills
Basic mathematical skills
Appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations
Compliance with all HIPAA regulations
Ability to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excel under pressure
Empathy with patients’ needs and concerns
Attentiveness to detail
Ability to convey a positive, professional attitude
