About The Position
Henry Ford Health is hosting a Medical Assistant Career Fair for opportunities at their Macomb County North Site Clinics. The fair will take place at the Garfield III Building, 43421 Garfield Road, Suite 203, Clinton Township, MI 48038, on Wednesday, October 14, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Open Medical Assistant positions are available in Clinton Township (OB/GYN Practice, Family Practice, Regional Residency Clinic), Washington Township (Family Medicine, Orthopedic Medicine), and Fraser (Family Medicine). Current active phlebotomy experience is a plus for these locations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (minimum 160 hours)
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program without a clinical externship and at least one year of clinical medical assisting experience within the last five years
- Current professionally recognized Medical Assistant certification with at least one year of clinical medical assisting experience
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Licensed Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one year of clinical experience in a medical setting within the last five years
- Military-trained medical personnel with at least one year of clinical experience in a medical setting within the last five years
Nice To Haves
- Current active phlebotomy experience is a plus for these locations.
