About The Position

MaxHealth in Naples is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare patients' rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is compassionate, service-oriented, and can multitask with ease. As a Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. You will greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You will prepare them to see the physician by preparing examination and procedure rooms, obtaining their histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. As needed, you will perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures for patients as well as managing the necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results. While maintaining a calming presence for our patients, you will also assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.

Requirements

1+ years of experience as an MA
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
Computer proficient
