About The Position

Currency Circle Surgery Center is looking to add a Medical Assistant Surgical who is a team player to our Outpatient GI Center! As a Medical Assistant Surgical at Currency Circle Surgery Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-trained physicians who specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver disease. You will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care by providing consultations and services in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment. We take pride in our friendly and supportive work environment, where continuity and trust are nurtured through stable and long-lasting relationships with our patients. While we work collaboratively as a group, each patient is assigned a dedicated gastroenterologist, ensuring personalized care and attention.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current CPR certification or will obtain upon hire

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in a medical environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians in patient care as needed
• Assist with Pre-op and Post-op patient flow
• Assist with Operating Room procedures
• Assist with Instrument reprocessing
• Monitor supply inventory levels
• Maintain electronic patient medical records
• Perform light clerical duties as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment according to industry standards
