About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) in Primary Care Family Medicine plays a crucial role in patient care within a family medicine setting. This full-time position involves greeting patients, documenting vital signs and medical information, providing front office support, and performing basic medical procedures. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience
CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program
Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA)
Previous experience working in a medical office (or related field)

Responsibilities

Greet patients and escort them to exam room
Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
Provide front office support as needed
Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
Phlebotomy and injections may be required
