About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their Adult Endocrinology team in Skokie, IL. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, with operating hours Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
One year of work experience required.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred.
Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred.
Previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
Document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for the office visit.
Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height, and weight.
Provide front office support as needed.
Perform phlebotomy and give injections, which varies based on the specialty.
