About The Position
Peachtree Immediate Care, a CRH Healthcare company, is hiring a Medical Assistant (CMA), EMT, or LPN to support our Lithia Springs and Hiram clinics. This full-time position offers a unique schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends, providing more days off. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on patient care, working with a strong clinical team, and gaining diverse urgent care experience. Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work between the Lithia Springs and Hiram clinic locations
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of outpatient, urgent care, or other clinical experience
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Document patient information and medical history
- Assist providers with patient exams and minor procedures
- Perform point-of-care testing and lab procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Perform basic wound care
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms
- Clean and maintain clinical equipment
- Support occupational health services
- Assist with radiographic imaging when appropriately trained or certified
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards
- Answer patient questions and help ensure a positive patient experience
- Support the clinical team throughout the daily operation of the clinic
