About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for their Medical Group Cardiology team. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) located in Vernon Hills, IL. The Medical Assistant will greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for their office visit. They will also perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height, and weight, provide front office support as needed, and may perform phlebotomy and give injections depending on the specialty. Travel to other Cardiology clinics may be required. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.

Responsibilities
