About The Position

This is a full-time Medical Assistant position in Primary Care, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with one Saturday per month. The role involves supporting a busy office with multiple providers and clinical staff. The Medical Assistant will perform select clinical functions under the direction of the Supervisor, including preparing patients for examinations, obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory tests and recording results, performing routine diagnostic tests, and potentially phlebotomy. Under general physician supervision, the Medical Assistant may also administer selected medications and injections. Additionally, the role includes performing clerical duties related to clinic operations. This position requires occasional travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience.
Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
