About The Position
We are currently hiring Bilingual (Spanish/English) TEMP to PERM Medical Assistants to join one of our health centers in the Bronx. This temporary assignment is full time and for a duration of a minimum of 3 months with eligibility to apply to permanent openings upon conclusion.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Bilingual Spanish/English required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Computer literacy.
- Responsible individual who genuinely wants to support our patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
- Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, medical history and accurately records in medical records.
- Completes referrals and discharges patients.
- Assists providers and nurses during all aspects of exams.
- Assist provider with treatments.
