Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Medical Assistant certification obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date (any issuing authority accepted).

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments ordered by physicians under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and accurately record information on patient charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Manage materials by ordering and stocking supplies, and assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
