About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join the team. The Medical Assistant will provide patient care and support within a clinic environment, helping enhance the patient experience and ensure efficient operations. The role involves assisting with aesthetic treatments and procedures, preparing treatment rooms and equipment, providing pre- and post-treatment care, maintaining patient records, educating patients, and supporting clinic operations, including inventory, scheduling, and promotional activities.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, or dermatology setting.
• Knowledge of aesthetic treatments and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the medical practitioner with aesthetic treatments and procedures, including laser treatments, chemical peels, injectables, and other non-surgical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure necessary equipment is ready for procedures.
• Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment patient care, including skin cleansing, applying topical anesthetics, and giving aftercare instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including detailed treatment and progress notes.
• Educate patients about aesthetic procedures, expected outcomes, and potential side effects.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout visits.
• Manage medical supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Handle patient inquiries and schedule appointments.
• Assist with marketing and promotional activities, including social media posts and patient consultations.
