A typical day as a Medical Assistant includes a variety of tasks to coordinate patient care and support providers in a clinic setting. You’ll manage medication authorizations, administer vaccinations and perform point-of-care testing, or testing near the patient care site. MA's also prepare patients for exams and treatment using skills such as administering injections, blood draws and EKGs. We currently have a full-time Medical Assistant opportunity at our Timnath clinic! As a Medical Assistant you will be assigned to work with a provider to support direct patient care and we have another position for an Administrative Medical Assistant. This position will help triage calls, support walk-in injections, prior authorizations and a variety of other duties to support the clinic. This position will support Pediatric Medicine at our new clinic in Timnath! At Banner Medical Group, you'll have the opportunity to perform a critical role in the community where you practice.
