Support the care team by performing clinical and administrative tasks that are vital to patient care. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a medical assistant diploma from an Accredited Institution recognized by the US Dept. of Education or be a certified MA with 2 years of verifiable medical assistant experience, to qualify.

Nice To Haves

  • Phlebotomy skills are preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years clinical experience in Cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
  • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
